Baby Bump
Trying on dresses at Spitafields Market in London. I snagged this gorgeous number for only £10.
Here are a couple of shots of the baby bump (at around 22 weeks.)
It has definitely become more pronounced in the last little while! I finally feel like I look pregnant. One thing I’ve noticed is that the dip in my tummy hasn’t smoothed out. I thought that pregnant bellies were always nice and round. Not mine. Perhaps the roundness will appear in the coming weeks. I’ll keep you posted. ;)
Sorry this space has been silent. We arrived home on Saturday and besides nursing some nasty jet-lag I’ve been a flurry of activity. Most of this week has been filled with unpacking, sorting, purging, and reorganizing our whole house… I’ve been dreaming about it for months.
I am officially nesting!

Looking forward to a fashionable new year
I have had a long term love affair with fashion so you can imagine the glee when Comment Magazine asked me to serve as their Fashion Columnist.
My first article will appear in Jan/Feb 2009.

Additionally, with our Toronto move only one week away, I am thrilled to be joining host and Globe and Mail columnist Lorna Dueck at the ranks of Listen Up TV where I’ll be assistant producing two days a week. While I’ll be continuing to freelance during our three month stay I thought a stint in television would be fantastic opportunity, plus it’ll get me out of our 390 square foot condo at least twice a week.
2009 is looking bright…

Boo Ya
With fresh news of our temporary move to Toronto (January to March) in hand, I am rejoicing over this announcement! Annie and Megan, I see beautiful afternoons unfolding…
ANTHROPOLOGIE TO EXPAND INTO CANADA
ANTHROPOLOGIE, a clothing and furniture retailer owned by Urban Outfitters, is planning on expanding into the Canadian market. Anthropologie already operates over 100 stores in the United States and ships to 34 countries. The chain will open its first store in Toronto’s upscale Yorkville area next year. The two-storey store will occupy approximately 12,000 sq. ft.
_______________
I realize now, after Jen‘s frantic e-mail response, that our move requires a little explaining. We’ll be relocating to Toronto so Michael can complete an office exhange within his company. He’s getting the chance to report to the big boss man at Altus headquarters. While we’re there, I’ll be writing, creating and most likely interning with a TV show. In the meantime I am accepting tips for surviving in the land of snow.
