Las Vegas, (with the) Baby!
OK. I must be crazy. I hopped on board for a girls’ trip to Las Vegas with my sister and stepmom to visit my prego sister in the desertland of Las Vegas. It turned from idea to a rushed infant passport, tickets and one gargantuan suitcase packed in three days. Madeleine and I were a surprise. And what a surprise it was. (It’s not nice to shock pregnant ladies. My poor teary-eyed sister! :) )
All of my worries about traveling so far without Michael have been abated. Madeleine has traveled beautifully, even with a 2+ hour delay for our flight. I couldn’t have better company to help with the baby. We’ve shopped. We’ve seen Cirque du Soliel’s Ka. We’re onto Anthropolgie and co. this afternoon and the Bellagio tonight. Serendipity 3 might be on the menu (Megan, I’m thinking of you and our indulgent night in NYC!) Home tomorrow.
Oh-blah-de-oh-blah-dah. Happy (belated) 4th of July, Everyone!

Ah! Sounds like so much fun and a little crazy. Which is really the perfect type of holiday. can’t wait to hear all the deets (and see the clothes? with anthropolgie there must be clothes).

THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for coming to visit… baby and all :) I know it’s not always easy with 4x the estrogen plus a 10 month old, but it was sooo great to see my family and to get to know my precious niece more as well. Loved it all!!! xoxo
