wow…she’s grown so much! what a beauty, and such a cut outfit! i’m checking your blog for the first time in 2010… love it. miss you. how do you write and DO so much with your little one around? i find it a challenge to get dishes put away… i welcome tips :), and i can hardly wait to see you all! much love to you!
Britt, I completely agree. My heart feels like it is exploding every time I look at it! This is my all time favourite picture of her.
Annie — I have the same challenges. It gets a bit easier as they get bigger. I have my sister nanny one day a week so I get a dedicated day to write. Other than that, I take a poetry class for three hours every two weeks and Michael watches her and I do the rest on nap times. I am in bed by 9!! I can not wait to see you.
a magazine writer partial to typewriters, snail mail and traveling on foot.
When not reading, mucking with paper, or penning poetry on the backs of napkins, I am exploring the world alongside two little marvels, Madeleine and Thomas. The Poetry of Life is where I share lines as they come, pictures of our ambling life and thoughts on faith, art, technology, fashion and culture.
Thanks for visiting! I love to hear from you.

1,000 words, certainly. But I haven’t the faintest as to what any of them might be.
But she does look like you!

What a fabulous picture. She has such excitement for life and not a care in the world.
You put it beautifully, Grandma. It’s true. And it makes my heart burst with joy.
