Laughter is the best medicine
At our first prenatal class on Tuesday night the instructor had each of us squeeze an ice cube in our hand for 45 seconds. It hurt like a $%#%$#&. You can imagine the laughter when I read this little birth class Q & A this morning:
Q: Will keeping a hand in a bucket of ice during class really approximate labour pain?
A: Yes, more or less — just imagine the ice is the polar ice cap and you’re slowly being crushed under it while somebody jabs an icicle in your spine.
Oh God, help me.

O my goodness, that even scares me and I am not pregnant, lol!~ I would love to meet you sometime..I don’t know if that get together at the painting cafe will happen or not, but nevertheless, when you have time, it would be fun! Maybe Avital could come too, cause I haven’t seen her in ages!
That would be lovely, Julia!
I am hoping to host an art party / creative night at my place some time soon. I’ll be inviting Avital. Would you like to come too?
Sure, that sounds fun! I am going away to Toronto for a conference on Saturday, I’ll be away till June 13th..sometime after then though would be awesome!
P.S. If you are having the art night sooner than June 13th, no worries, I know you two like Starbucks too, haha, so whatever works :O)
