I love sending people things in the mail : the problem, most people are too into the old technology to send me something back :O( Has anyone experienced this? I guess that the joy is in the giving though, but there’s still nothing like getting a handmade card or letter in the mail!!
Amanda — maybe we can have a letter writing night at a cafe in Oxford?
Julia — I have experienced this too. The joy really is in the giving, but my cherished letter-writing friends share a special place in my heart (and on my bulletin board…) Thanks for stopping by!
...a writer, arts editor, paper junky and fashion lover in Vancouver. When not reading, collaging, or penning poetry on the backs of napkins, I am exploring the world alongside an exquisite little girl named Madeleine. The Poetry of Life is where I share lines as they come, pictures of our ambling life and thoughts on faith, art, fashion and culture. I'm thrilled to be packing up my Remington and moving my family to a small wooded island this fall. I'm available for freelance work - please visit www.thewordstudio.ca.
